ECommerce Content Specialist

Description:Under general supervision, assists in the development and implementation of content on Rockler eCommerce websites. Incorporates content from various inputs (writers, designers, etc.) to produce a final layout that aligns with and promotes the mission, values, and key initiatives of the organization.
Duties:• Add, maintain or edit product descriptions, fields, attributes, images, videos and other data using Rockler’s Magento eCommerce system.
• Create, maintain or edit How-To articles and other content using Rockler’s WordPress content management system.
• Create or edit content pages (like store, press release, home page or customer service pages) using Magento CMS tools.
• Create, maintain or edit product category landing pages using SLI Search tools.
• Create, maintain or edit promotional content to on site (banners, coupon codes, etc.) to support ongoing promotions.
• Review site search reporting, and optimizing search result pages and queries.
• Review reporting in Google Analytics and others to ensure content and links are error-free and optimized.
• Track and review competitor emails and sites and report new intelligence to marketing team.
• Check vendor or manufacturer sites for updated videos and content to be used on Rockler
Qualifications:• BS Degree in Marketing or related discipline required; up to 2 years prior experience preferred.
• Fast and accurate data entry/keyboarding.
• Excel experience (intermediate level) required. MS Office experience preferred.
• Experience using online content management tools similar to WordPress or Magento.
• Basic experience with HTML tagging is required. CSS, DHTML, JavaScript or web coding experience is a plus.
• Superior spelling, grammar and attention to details to produce error-free content is required.
• Must be organized and self-driven to maintain high productivity.
