| Description: | Ensure all departments within the distribution center are meeting there service levels and budgetary goals through effective communication and employee engagement. This position will also help lead the distribution center in safety initiatives and safety program planning. |
| Duties: | Perform or manage all Manager/Supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, performance reviews and coaching of associates.
Provide daily work direction for DC Leads and administrative staff.
Monitors performance towards service and expense goals. Analyzes results and initiates appropriate action to ensure goals are achieved.
Responsible for order accuracy.
Develops strong cross-functional relationships with peers to achieve goals and improvement opportunities.
Capable of executing change strategies
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required. |
| Qualifications: | Bachelors degree in Business or the equivalent
Minimum two years experience in warehouse supervision
Ability to motivate and engage employees to meet operational goals
Excellent organizational skills required
Experience in Lean and continuous improvement strongly desired
Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required
Experience with a Pick Module strongly desired
Fulfillment experience in catalog, internet, and retail desired
Bilingual skills not required but ideal
Capable of working in teams and building teams
Strong and effective communication skills
Microsoft Dynamics AX experience preferred
Able to work 2nd shift for part of the year required
Prior experience in a fulfillment related warehouse operation preferred |
